Preheat oven to 400˚. Line a baking sheet with tin foil. Halve potatoes and dry cut side with paper towel. Spread cut side with butter and generously sprinkle garlic salt and pepper and place cut side down on baking sheet. Bake in over 45 minutes or until potato is soft and the cut side is golden brown and crispy.

Variation: This is also good if you substitute your fav seasoned salt instead of garlic salt!
