Renegade Ribs
I like to use a dry rub on ribs I do in the oven…the crust that forms seals in the juices and adds a nice level of flavour under the sauce. For a rub, Silk Road Spice Market in Inglewood has a chicken and rib rub that is outstanding!! Sometimes you gotta let the experts do what they do best!!

And not every recipe has to be homemade or complicated!

How to:

Preheat oven to 350˚. Remove the thin skin from the back of the ribs with a sharp knife or spoon, whatever your preferred method. Apply a generous coating of dry rub to the ribs and place on a rack on a cookie sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, to allow a crust to form. Coat the ribs with BBQ sauce and cook an additional 45 minutes, with a second coating of BBQ sauce applied halfway through. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with potato salad and an ice cold beer! Cheers!!
